Last week I updated my really old snowboard, 1992 Burton demo board to a Rossignol Diva. I couldn’t have made a better choice. I have been shopping around for a long time and this was the best choice out there for me.
I am so excited about the magne traction feature of my new board! If you haven’t heard about magne traction, it basically is an updated edges for your board. Easiest way to describe it is to imagine the difference between cutting a loaf of bread with a straight edged knife, or with a cerated blade. Essentially the edges on my board are cerated and the technology gives me way more control when I hit an icy patch. So now there is more pressure between my feet giving me tons more stability.
Not only is my board fantastic in every condition; tons of pow, runs groomed to the max and massive icy patches, it is so bea-u-tiful! I’ll just admit it, I love lace and the designers of this board inlayed lace and even added a little bling bling. For someone who had been embarrassed by her board for years, I am so pumped to go riding. The Rossignol Diva board with magne traction has a five star rating from this Whistler Crew member.
